As we become further disconnected from food and its life cycle, where do we draw the line? How long is it before people and planet are polluted to death by poisonous agricultural practices and food processing, or have we already crossed that line?
The Sprout Center addresses these issues by intertwining the greater public with neighboring single parents into the cycle of food, from seed saving and nutrient generation to eating and processing. This practice of closed systems reduces economic and ecological strains while strengthening food security.
